We understand the pressures within the civil construction industry to meet deadlines whilst retaining a high level of workmanship. We are 100% committed to providing a high quality efficient service and will go the extra mile to meet these deadlines, rain, hail or shine.
Who are we?
RIX Civil Construction is a small family run business, run by husband and wife, Todd and Mel.
Todd has over 15 years’ experience in the civil construction and water reticulation industry with his most previous role working as a Project Engineer. Todd has a Diploma in Engineering (Civil), National Certificate in First Line Management, National Certificate in Water Reticulation - Service Person among other civil construction tickets e.g. confined space certification, PE welding (butt fusion and electrofusion) certificates, first aid, site safe and STMS. Todd is also a licensed contractor for Tauranga City Council (Category A and C) which authorises him to install new water service connections and backflow prevention units.
And I'm Mel, Todd's wife. My background is in public health policy but nowadays I spend my days running the other side of the business and hanging out with and raising our four beautiful cheeky kids.
